Since moving away from screens, for the past 2 years in Charleston I’ve been working in the handyman and construction spaces trying to match my interests and skills with something that inspires me. My core business is helping designers and renovators complete their designs on time with minimal stress and a high quality result. I’m usually brought in during “the big push” where owners are expecting to move in soon, there’s a million little things left to do, fix, correct and change. You have no time to organize and schedule multiple trades people to finish up on small tasks that require a variety of skills, each skill typically demanding it’s own callout charge before work even starts. For example, you have a fan to upgrade, 2 sconces to wire/hang, shades to hang, a shelf to install, a doorstop to install, and TV wires hidden. I usually do all those things in one trip, saving you the time to organize it all and then saving you the money you’d otherwise pay for multiple callout charges. I don’t stress about things that take time to get right. I rather enjoy the process because I know you’ll get the look you want.

How many installers have installed your window treatments but not taken time to configure them to your needs? I see this all the time. I’m more than happy to help install electric shades and help with configuration. In this case, these shades came configured on 2 remotes, with every other opening assigned to a different remote. No thought was given to the outcome. With an hour of work I was able to consolidate all shades down to one remote and 1 button per opening group per the customer’s specifications (not the factory).

Renters? If you’re leaving a rental property, I’ll make sure your landlord won’t find anything wrong with the condition of your old house/apartment. Movers won’t touch TV’s. That’s fine, I’ll take care of your TV’s. Need some holes patched and painted so you’ll never know they were there? Not a problem! And you’re new place, I’ll help you make it comfortable and warm, unique to you (like this Vogue gallery wall).
